And like I said in the Sherman thread, he just wasn't an ideal fit for this defense.  IMO we'd have only signed him as a last resort.  Solid corner but just not a smart fit in a press-man defense at his age.  He's gotta be in heavy zone.

There's enough TE FA JAGs (just a guy) out there that if Tremble and Thomas can't get it done, we can sign one for cheap.  We can use Marshall like a TE in passing situations.

People get so hung up on stupid big names. Sherman hasn't been particularly good in at least two years.

This is robbery.  While he doesn't completely replace Jaycee, our secondary is now much better.  Arnold and a third is a great deal. 

I am also excited to see Tremble get Arnold's reps now.  Also - keeping all those TEs on the roster suddenly makes a lot of sense.
