I'm really hoping a deal gets done so we will not have to waste a franchise tag on him. He had an all star season but if you look at his career as a whole, does this season alone warrant that kind of money for one year? Nope.

it'll be interesting to see how he does after knee surgery... if there's no (or minimal) dropoff from his performance, this is great news for both TD and the panthers organization.

If he doesn't finish his career here he's gonna have to spend like $20K to get his car repainted. So at least we have that going for us.
