There is a lot of issues here. The offensive gameplan revolves around one player and your investment in his back up is a 4th round rookie, this is after the fact you have no clue how to run an offense without running him into the ground with an unheard of 30 carries all the while behind an oline completely ignored.

With no CMC, we're just meh.  Darnold loses the person he laser focus on, doesn't know what to do now.  We have a bad Oline so average running back can't run through it, you need someone like CMC that just forces his will through.   Then Brady, the most overrated play caller in the league with questionable stuff. 

Not sure what is up with the defense.

We all know the O-line is ass, but we're not going to get a new O-line next week. It's up to the coaches to adjust and game plan to get the ball out quick to help Darnold so our O-line doesn't have to block for more than 2 seconds.
