So only 2 backup OL. Rhule hasn't lived in times when we regularly had 3 injuries along the OL. There is no reason to have 4 TEs active on gameday.

Trent Scott has really taken a step back in performance. He was a solid fill in last season but now can’t even get a jersey on game day

I think he just got passed on the depth chart by guys like Christensen

If we really have 4 active TE's there should be no excuse to struggle in the redzone again. We're playing with fire with this oline.

We use TEs on special teams now the way we used to use LBs

Panthers fandom and baffling depth chart decisions have gone hand in hand for so long at this point I'm just numb to it. We sure are living dangerously on the OL considering three of our starters and a primary backup have all had considerable injury issues in recent years.

We aren't carrying 4 TE's for the offense, its special teams probably.  I'm pretty sure all 4 got ST snaps last week.

A lot of teams carry more TEs than just the ones you think about being part of the offense.

Yeah lets activate 4 TEs that we won't use, and have our only 2 backup lineman a 3rd round rookie and a former 6th rounder with injury issues. All while our starters consist of 2 injury prone journeymen, a center who is just not good, and a guy who just came off the covid list. Good idea.

Yeah that’s correct, 8 active. Some people don’t know our roster very well apparently.
