Matt Rhule explains deactivating Deonte Brown

Rhule mentions his weight, says he is in the 330s right now. Says Deonte will have a bright future, but Brady and Trent Scott are more versatile and can fill in all 4 positions (other than center). 

 

Doesn't sound like Deonte will be active this week either.

Big, big guy playing in this heat and humidity for a full game might not be the best thing for Brown.

Not sure that's the reason, but it would be a good one and looking down the long, long road to that 17th game... we can let him slide for a few weeks.
