Good luck to him, he's our guy for as long as he can hold onto the job. It's like riding a tiger right now, one bad buck and you're toast.

I won't be.  The moment he shanks one, he's out.  He's on the roster for at least 3 weeks, so if it happens this week or next, the staff will be looking for his replacement-in-waiting.

Not that big of a deal. Still operating on the rules where you can elevate PS guys. If he's terrible, they can give Eberle a look. Yes, he takes up a roster spot, but it's 1/53 and it's only three weeks.

      They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.

      I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
