Barnidge has gotten more opportunity than Jarrett? Now I KNOW we're looking at different games. :)

Rosario targeted 22 times

Barndige targeted 15 times

both have played on more passing downs than Jarrett

Jarrett targeted 15.

So it is close...but yeah, considering both TEs have played on more passing downs to begin with. How do you figure Jarrett has gotten more opportunity this year?

How about just getting open consistently? That would be a great start for Jarrett, but it hasn't happened yet when he got his shot.

I'm with Cyberjag though. You guys seem to have an insiders opinion (or at least you think you do), so how about reporting back to the rest of us the next time you're at a Panthers practice and see Jarrett outplaying Moose?

i look at the same tape you will to say he is not open!!!:D

Barnidge has played in four games, Jarrett six. I get what you're saying about targets equaling opportunities, but isn't that evidence that Barnidge is getting open better than Jarrett? Maybe Jarrett needs to learn something from him, so he can make more for himself. :)

Unless Jake is in on the conspiracy... ;)

Jake is just flawed. The few times he goes to Jarrett.....imo Jarrett has looked to be an early read on a lot of those (even 1st) as odd as that sounds.

Jake wants to go to Smith and he will go to Moose....do you really think Jake is looking at the #3 WR???and making the read?

So if it's not Fox's fault, it's Jakes. Got it.

I can't wait to see Jarrett tear it up for his next NFL team. ;)

there is no intention to it....but they are all factors. Some like to pin it on Jarrett and all the blame clearly doesn't go there imo.

But you are probably right....what Fox gives us always is going to be what is best for the team in reality. I really loved the air show he put on in the playoffs and to start the season....clearly putting the games on Jake early was the right decision.

it is even funnier when Fox tries to blame the run game for it......

Well, let me see .......................... I don't think we've ever had a WR leave the Panthers and tear it up for anybody else in the NFL. Even Moose going to Chicago, he didn't do as well. Kolbert continued dropping passes in Seattle and Detroit and is probably still dropping passes in the cold of Canada. Carter kept getting injured, poor guy.

Saying all that, maybe we should trust the coaches a little more than some fans want to. :skep:
