Talk to me about the Saints. What do you know?

I think we are going to pressure Winston and frustrate him and he’s going to make some mistakes.

On the other side they are going to pressure Darnold all day and depending how he responds to that will be whether we win or not.

I think we will hold the Saints to right around 20 points. The key will be whether our Offense can out perform that because I think our Defense will do it’s job.

you got to believe this was the game the coaching staff was thinking about in the off season. The Jets game was going to be shaky due to new personnel and rookies but the defense was going to keep us in it.

And now we have data on how players performed in a real game.

the crowd will be into it, we make some changes in scheme and it's going to be a fight against a division rival. Rhule will have our guys revved up and Brady/Snow will execute a game plan that have thought about for months.

the saints where thinking about the packers game in the off season and not about us.

it's going to be an early test on our intensity and will. I like how this game sets up for us and 3.5 point ? that isn't much considering how the first games where played.

Prior to the one big play in the fourth there WRs had 4 catches for 48 yards, I think that game was as much the product of Green Bays lethargy and shooting themselves in the foot as it was the saints beating them I think this is a vary winnable game if we can contain there ground game and force them to drive the field (GB with three turnovers in their own end)

Are they that good or is Green Bay just that bad?

I think it wasn't a case of them being THAT GOOD or Green Bay being THAT BAD.

I think Green Bay honestly was just not ready to play that day and that falls on the head Coach LaFleur.

They'll rebound and beat whomever they face next game.

As far as the Saints go, Jameis Winston is their QB.    I don't know what else can be said.

If you looked closely, you'll see it's the same Winston who was with the Bucs.

I think our D will make things very difficult for him next sunday.

The only question is will Rhule adjust the Offensive Gameplan and spread the ball out more to the Wide Receivers instead of running CMC into the ground again?

I think if we keep the pressure up all game like last week, and not get gassed/let our foot off the gas, then we have a really good shot of getting Jameis to throw us a couple.  We need Sam to be opportunistic and continue to feed CMC to rock.  I think we have a really good shot of winning.

I predict Panthers 27 Saints 24

This is why I say the Saints took advantage of GB's miscues. I don't feel like we did that. We should have won by at least two more TDs. We have to take advantage of Winston's mistakes. If we don't, then it could possibly get bad. I think it will be a close game. We will see.

That falls on Darnold needing to be more accurate when we are in the Redzone.

Hope he improves in that aspect.

They have the best offensive line in the NFL. Our front four will have their work cut out for sure.

With that said, them missing Davenport and Lattimore is a big deal. The offense will need to put up 24+ this week to win.

I expect a close game with the Saints seeing a little more realistic side of Jameis this week than last week.

    • At this rate, maybe he'll be a decent 8-9 QB on his 3rd HC by year 6. Standards are so low around here now. Tepper has done some serious damage to the fan base.
