so my question for John Fox is...

my point of view on this situation:

i don't see what's wrong with being so offensive. we've come to expect 21-17-like defensive battles where we do just enough. fox is a defensive minded coach. being that, he wants the defense to limit the other teams to under 14 points, while we score about 23 points, which should be enough in his system.

BUt, i agree with Carolina pride on this. simply put, if we can score, we should. yeah, we blew out teams this year. maybe fox does let off the gas too early. that lets opponents back into games. like in a high speed race. you have a guy beat by 30 seconds headed to the finish line. you let off the gas then suddenly they make up ground. the giants game was a perfect example on how this happened.

but maybe our system doesn't fit into this "blowout" mode you suggest we should be in. if we had a qb like manning, even warner then yes blow the other team out the stadium. fox wants us to do enough, nothing beyond that. but in no way do i blame delhomme. he's good and we should give him the ball so he can sling it and shred secondaries to pieces. our running game can put up 21. if our defense holds on to int's, that's another 7. delhomme is good for 2 td's. and kasay is an insurance policy with 6 points. our offense has potential, but we're only limited by fox and his system. he don't want blowout, he wants hard-earned.

but, i have a felling if we do meet NY again, all bets are off as he will look probably to systematically blow them out as a measure of revenge.

anyone who thinks we didn't pump the brakes in the 2nd half your crazy....did it looked to anyone we only scored when we had to?

it did to me,john fox is really a classy guy....but nice guys finish last in this league.one td would have made it 28-13,and then you don't have to worry about 301 rushing yards.

If I didnt know better I'd say the game was fixed. Comon, Smitty dropped a ball right in his chest and then followed that up with a rediculous penalty he knew he wouldnt get away with.
