I didnt think I would care about the new lax rules of the numbers one way or the other, but I clearly do.  I don't like seeing pro LBs in single digits, at all.

I'm not that bothered by it, but I'm a little surprised they waited to do it right before game one.

Some of the number changes I'm fine with but yeah LBs shouldn't be single digits, just looks weird. They should've expanded the number flexibility but not as lax as they did.

The fact that Shaq can change his jersey number on the day of the season opener and it barely be a blip on the radar kinda says it all. Man I hope he balls out this season.

After watching film on guys and then have them switch numbers is gonna mess with the rookie.
