He didn’t mention McCaffrey. The Panthers don’t have many options. Smith was expected to miss two to three weeks with a shoulder injury.

And while having McCaffrey and Moore, two of your best playmakers, looks attractive, their risk of an injury increases. The Panthers need McCaffrey and Moore to win games.

The likeliness that McCaffrey returns kicks is low.

I really hope he isn't the primary returner, but I'm not opposed to putting our best YAC guys out there in key situations.

Chubba scares me as a PR.  If he muffs a punt Sunday, change it up immediately!  No need to let him redeem himself.  I really don't get letting someone with questionable hands do PR duties.

We need someone reliable I don’t trust anyone but him or CMC. That’s what u get when u don’t try to sign someone to handle those duties.

Pharoh Cooper is still a FA. I mean if they're rolling CMC back there to return punts Week 1 of the season, they made a mistake.

Not sure on the actual stats of this, but it seems like most punts end in fair catches anyway. No need to send our best receiver back there.

I am not a big fan of using such a critical offensive asset in a return capacity. But, it also sucks to have unreliable return options.

I'm not sure where they are getting their depth chart from but it doesn't match what is on the official site.
