Well this is certainly a way to address the kick returning situation.  He's a rookie and I'm not going to lie ball security scares the crap out of me, both kick and punt returning.

Let's hope Chuba does well.  I don't recall him doing any kick returning during the preseason....did he?

Question remains who does the punt returning?

I have a strong sneaking suspicion that thorough review and analysis would reveal that in the current era, kicks should pretty much never be returned from the end zone. When I watch games, the number of times a returned kick comes up short of the 25 yard marker seems to significantly outweigh the number of times a returner gets beyond that line. Can we all just agree that being a kick returner is now more or less a formality and the only thing that really matters is holding onto the ball?

Chuba had/has a fumbling issue.  We'll see.  If Shi is healthy enough, I kinda had him penciled in, but he may need another couple of weeks.

He did return kicks and had a 62 yard kick return in the Senior bowl.  Maybe a Gamecock fan knows if he returned any punts.

Only on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. Oh yeah, and on Saturdays during January.

Love having a RB as kick returner. Should have better vision and strength to break arm tackels.
