Man you know this situation is dicey when we're rejoicing over picking up the Bengals oline scraps.

So true.  Ugh. Glad we're kicking the tires on someone because Elflein looked bad. But it's hard to think this is going to solve our problems.

Texans are signing him to their practice squad.

That does however mean that we could still get him.

Yeah, something tells me though, if we didn't put in a claim, we probably aren't interested.  And seems weird that as solid of a career as he had in college in addition to his measurables that no other team put in a claim either.  Must be some other concerns?

This could mean that we like our roster.   Michael Jordan may not have been a great LG (I dunno) but he played Center at Ohio state as well--maybe they want to move him there...It is concerning that Urban Myer (Jax) did not take him.

He might be the backup center and not a LG.  I firmly believe that Christensen will be at LG at some point during the season.

"His improved play was seen in Cincinnati’s first preseason game. Jordan only had eight pass blocking snaps against the Buccaneers, but posted an above average PFF pass blocking grade of 80.0. He took second-team reps during the second preseason game with Xavier Su’a-Filo getting the start over him at right guard."

    • That’s a book of the great life that the Panthers have had. So great to look back on the great players and seasons that we have had. But I think the book could have been twice the size. We have had a good 30 years, up and down the standings. i know we are in a bad spot right now, but hopefully before long we will be climbing back towards that Super Bowl championship
    • LmAO ..it does not make any sense whatsoever why a team that is currently 2-0 would  trade their backup Qb to a team that is 0-2 & in the same NFC conference ? & what is Seattle going to do if Geno Smith is injured ? wouldn't a team that is  currently 2-0 & is quiet  possibly going to the playoffs  want a decent plan B that already knows how to operate their system & has some form of chemistry with their players  , like I said before this is the NFL &teams especially ones like Seattle  are NOT going to trade their backup Qb 2 games into the regular season...just saying
    • Yeah, I can see that happening, but my only thing is, whoever he goes to, it's going to be a bad team. Not a whole lot of difference between us and say Denver, Jax, the Giants or the Colts. Of course, we're probably worse, but not by that much. Manning would have to pick his poison.
