Just heard a quick word from Joe Horn on Jaycee on ESPN

Joe Horn basically emphasized that his son knows that the NFL is a job, and that's how Jaycee approaches the game, unlike some other rookies that might think it's all fun and games. He emphasized that his son is a professional already. Apparently they have had a blueprint for Jaycee to follow, and so far so good! 

I don't know if Ed McCaffrey imparted this all-business attitude upon Christian, but I kinda can see some similarities in their attitudes regarding their respective jobs. Here's to hoping that Jaycee's needle points as high as CMC's does at their respective positions. 

Jaycee's demeanor which kind of gives you a sense that he is serious about his business and mature about his approach to the game is not an act. He gets it honest.

That's my general  impression from hearing a few words from his father. Take it FWIW. Just thought that I'd share.

Hard to be better prepared for life in the NFL than having a very successful family member that has already played. You get the information about how to conduct yourself and the behind the scenes aspects of being a professional that you can't get from just about anywhere else.

Worth it's weight in gold alone.

We've got 3 guys with fathers and/or brothers who have played in the NFL.  Brian Burns' brother is Stanley McGlover.  CMC's dad was a star WR, and now Jaycee's dad was also obviously a star WR.  Its not a coincidence that all 3 are elite athletes, even among their peers.
