With Thomas Fletcher being placed on season ending IR, J Jonah Jameson Jansen sticks around for one more year.

Jansen is a reliable snapper and generally considered one of the most likable guys on the team.

Win-win. Jansen gets his sunset tour. Team gets a super reliable long snapper and doesn't have to expose their 6th round investment to waivers.

Truly hope it ISN'T anything serious for the kid, but assuming not, gotta say it's the perfect scenario!

Severely aggravated ingrown toe nail.  It's been known to keep some players on IR for an entire season.  Remarkably clears up in time for training camp next year.  Go figure.

Shoulder sore from taking Covid vaccine, second dose made it worse. Can’t be a long snapper with a sore shoulder.
