encouraged for certain. Agree that he started somewhat nervous but seemed to settle in. Happy as a whole tonight even tho it was vanillaball.

The problems I have with Darnold should improve as he gains experience with this system. What worries me is that Steeler nobodies were racing through our o-line to scare the devil out of Darnold. He's already jumpy and seeing ghosts. That doesn't bode well for this season, but the next draft could fix the problem.

I’m not convinced Darnold is better than Bridgewater, they should have brought in a 2nd potential starting option. And just PS - I miss Cam

If he doesn't fix that problem we'll probably be drafting his replacement. The OL is going to have to get a lot better very quickly to give him a fighting chance.

Hes still got a chance to be a good QB this oline may David Carr him.

If he can come out and light up the Jets, it's going to go so freakin far in his development and confidence. This first game is when we exorcize some ghosts.
