This kid is actually good.  Has a strong leg..I watched the Giants game specifically to see him last week and I was impressed.  Great trade by Fitterer.

 

We weren’t the only team in on him he was coveted..

Gano has objectively been a top five kicker in the league since 2017. It was a mistake to let him go and now we’re paying for it

I think it was more of a financial decision to let him go rather than performance. They believed in Slye. He looked just as good if not better than Gano in camp. Didnt work out the same when the real games were. Sometimes gambles don't pay off. It happens
