Those aren't cracks in the dam. Just poor decisions. Taking a long snapper in the draft is a pretty poor decision given the depth issues elsewhere and having one of the most reliable long snappers in the NFL already on your team. 

It's a 6th round pick, so the impact is pretty minimal but it was 100% a stupid decision. Especially since by all reports Jansen has clearly got the job locked down.

I think you are right and I'm not gonna lose sleep over a 6th rd pick but we could have gotten a LS replacement next year or in the 7th rd or undrafted this year.  The staff must have *loved* this guy and he didn't even go to Temple afaik.
