Today's coverage was peppered with stories like this.

Gotta imagine Rhule is pissed after saying yesterday that today would be better on that front. Of course, it'll be up to him to do something about it.

With all that said though, I like that the guys are standing up for themselves and their own. And admittedly, this gives me a bit of an evil grin

Here’s my thing you get two teams together in a hot day there’s bound to be fights… It seems most of them stemmed from receiver and corner battles… you’re talking about two positions that have alpha male personalities out the wazoo.

The thing that made me happy was the scuffle when Christian McCaffrey was tackled to the ground and the Oline stepped up to back him that’s what you’re supposed to do for your team. We can’t sit back and complain this team isn’t tough enough but wonder why our players are being enforcers at some points.

he changes tone  a lot.  Pick any player, coach or subject

It's really hard to get a clear picture of anything based on tweets. They're too short, the people making them have bias and they want to get attention.

Twitter turns every sentence in to something you are supposed to have some side you need to take on it.

It's concerning most aren't aware of how limited a view you are getting from them.

I like Rhule's response a lot. The Panthers were not ready for the intensity yesterday.

The Colts obviously wanted to be physical, and the Panthers matched it today.

As long as there's not injuries and/or practice ruined, so be it.

If they want to be a tough-ass football team, they need to practice like it in the small window of padded practices (especially against someone else) that the CBA allows.

I don't mind camp fights. Never have. If you don't have some scuffles then there's not enough effort. This is football. These guys aren't playing soccer out there. Anyone who ever played football knows any August practice that was worth a fug has some scuffles. Doesn't mean poo. Doesn't mean lack of discipline. Doesn't mean had blood. Just means you're playing football and going all out in miserable August heat.

Yeah, not worried about the fights today. Panthers needed to match the intensity of the Colts and not back down. Sounds like they did that today. Now, if personal fouls are a thing during the season, that is a different story. Before Game 1, Coach needs to ensure they can bring the heat without hurting the team.

I think yesterday was partly a result of the player who got cut after the hard hit last week. Young players may have backed off too much after that. Vets are better at turning intensity on and off when needed; young pups have to learn how to do that. Rhule needed to see that intensity today and he did. Now to get the kinks works out, which may take awhile with such a young roster.

It's 2 teams out there, Rhule can't control what the Colts do and he can't go after his own team for standing up for each other. It's also 100 degrees outside I get edgy walking to the corner store
