NGL, the announcers and crowd seem to be favoring Mac over Cam, and it seems like McDaniels is too.  One thing that really irritated me with McD last season was he seemed to call some old Wing T, Lateral-passes-only offense with Cam in last year, and then started calling pro-style offenses when Stidham and the other guy got in last season...  he appears to be doing the same so far this season.

Multiple screens and runs on Cam's two drives...  seemed to run a ground and pound, run heavy style...  then Mac comes in and they ran one time so far and then had him chucking it down field every other play.

I don't like the way this is playing out.

The play calling was painful last year.  Made Mike Shula look cutting edge.

wouldn’t be shocked if they run a multi QB offense in NE this year and insert QBs situationally based on what opponents struggle with

I've been thinking this as well.  It just really irritates me that McD uses Cam like he's effing T3bow.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
