Couldnt have been a better Monday Night game to skip.

Ill check in on it occasionally. But i suspect WWII will be more interesting despite already knowing the outcome Scrum.

In "HD" is horsepoo.

More accurate to say "in color", which was already done a few years back.

They added some A-list and B-list actor voice-overs, and interviewed a few of the actual vets.

It is ok, but call me old fashioned....I like the grainy black and white stuff.

And believe it or not, we had Allies in that slog, one of which was pretty much alone for quite some time. This is limited in scope, by design, and the footage is not all new.

Give me "The World at War". Still the gold standard when it comes to WWII documentaries. I watched this, because the Cleveland Browns are far from compelling television.

There is a new series starting on HBO in January from the makers of 'Band of Brothers' called Pacific....yeah it's Hollywood WWII but it looks amazing....and it'll be in HD.
