  1. 1. Do you want Deshaun Watson on this team? All answers are made public.

    • Yes. I want to win.
    • No. Sure I want to win. But not at the expense of my Compassion, nor my Mortal Soul.
    • Meh, I don't care one way or the other. I just like watching teh Foosball.
    • Other. If so, then why?

I don’t want Watson.

and I wanted Hardy gone.

and I have never been a mega fanboy of 89 either.  Because you know….he straight up went around assaulting folks and was horrible to people.  Repeatedly.    Still a great WR who does and did good things too though.   But saying that generally makes you not a good Panther fan

Most NFL fans pick and choose what there lines are.  We all have them.

Like what?

You said everything is different now because of me too and cancel culture.

it wasn’t for Kareem Hunt.  He was right back the next season.  Got an extension too.  You follow the Tyreek Hill path and not the Hardy one of continuing to be a problem….NFL fans still largely just move on.

Sure everybody has their own lines. But most lawful people with an ounce of compassion, pretty much have the same line. And right now, Watson fans seem quite content to blur the line.

It's not about moving on. It's about doing the right thing the first time. Some folks don't want the type of person Watson seems to be. Doesn't make it right just because some team is willing to pay them.

do they?

what is your line on someone jumping someone, breaking their face and sending them to the hospital?  Or sucking punching someone kneeling on the ground?

or does it depend?

all I am saying is the NFL is a weird space.  And we have let a lot of dudes play that we probably shouldn’t in reality.  I don’t see that changing

the right thing to do would be for guys who commit crimes or make the NFL look bad to lose the privilege of playing IMO.

But that isn’t going to happen in the NFL.    So we discuss the reality of what the league is.  And IF Watson settles these cases…..he still will be back for someone.   Decent odds of it likely having a Big Ben feel to it.

But I am not a fan of Big Ben and sadly not of Watson.   But he still deserves his day in court.   But regardless of the outcome, his decision making is going to rightfully leave him judged, even a best case scenario outcome for him.

I’m no fan of Darnold.  But I’d rather pull for Darnold and bitch about his play than have Watson.  And I was a massive Watson fan.

Do who? People with a moral center. Or Watson fans?

I believe in second chances. But, there is a clear line between hitting a football player (s), and abusing women. Both are wrong, yet one is worse.

Sucks for Clempson nation. lol

All I'm saying is. You do the crime, you do the time, miss the games. Unfortunately we all know that is a pipe dream for lots of players.

It’s funny how Rodgers is a whiny bitch but everyone wants Watson legal troubles aside, who whines for the same reasons - both after willingly signing a contract.

Its hard enough to root for a whiny bitch but combine that with his legal BS?

I guess at the end of the day no one can control all these shitty characters playing NFL, gotta look at it entertainment wise and not look at these athletes as some sort of moral compass.

I wouldn’t care if he came here but the price scares me and it’d have to be after all this legal BS or stipulated for a reasonable price.

So assaulting people and putting them in the hospital is bad.  But not that bad.   Well, bad if I did it.   Not that bad if a football player does it vs all sorts of other things.

is Watson getting off in front of women just trying to do their job better or worse than beating a pregnant woman?

I’m not asking you to answer that.  It is rhetorical.

Point is simply NFL fans are consistently NFL fans….and it’s why Watson most likely plays again and everyone just moves on.   I hope if he does….that opportunity isn’t here.
