Is he an option to trade? Or are we "deep" at TE. I know that sounds silly but we signed Arnold, drafted Tremble, and seem to still think Thomas has something. 

I cannot see Ertz, in the finally year of a deal, garnering very high value.

I would think we should be comfortable at TE with Arnold and Tremble. If we are trading to improve, that is pretty low on the priority list.

Ertz is shot. It would be a coup for Philly to get something in return for him.

There was a lot of focus on Wentz' struggles in Philly last year, but in the games I watched I was more shocked by the dramatic decline in Ertz. Yeah, Wentz was throwing a lot of picks but in terms of just physical talent on display Ertz looked a lot farther from his prime than Wentz did.

Yeah, I'd say at this point Ertz is probably one of those guys you'd be looking at based on who he used to be.

I remember earlier this off-season he wanted to be traded to a contender, problem is no one in their right minds would trade for him with his contract. Guess he's content to get paid like a pro bowler for one last season before ring chasing near the vet min/retiring.

I doubt Ertz is shot, but I don't believe we need him.

Based on how he looked in the games I saw last year, he's not worthy of a roster spot. Not even joking.

I'm not so sure Ertz is even the best TE on their roster.

It went into the offseason as a huge need but believe we perfectly addressed it in acquiring one of the better young FAs on the market and drafting an adaptive, multi-use beast with great upside.
