So Instagram and SI are just in on this to get a little extra money in their pockets? Really?

They are falsifying DMs and corroborated stories? Putting their entire existence on the line?

Apply critical thinking and respond...

You obviously missed the point of what I said.  I am referring to what players and coaches say in the media.

The current trajectory of this franchise dictates our being first in line.

Tepper has done absolutely nothing to put butts in seats.

Watson is a franchise QB. Not debatable.

We've had one of those. We all know what one does for the trajectory of your franchise.

We've seen it. That's why some of us were kicking and screaming (and got banned on this here site)when they footed Cam in the ars, signed TB?!?(garbage move) instead of playing Grier and having perhaps a high enough pick to have picked Justin Herbert (Hurndog was one of the few GMs to fly out to Oregon).

Instead we traded for Sam Darnold, passed on Fields and are currently looking over the fence at Watson.

None of that timeline makes any sense. Signing Watson, although the controversy, does make sense.

Stop the madness!

Uuuuhhh no, it doesn't... at all.

Nevermind that signing anybody "to put butts in seats" is a flat out stupid argument to begin with, but given that his own legal team now thinks there's a high probability of his being indicted, no way.

Nobody puts "butts in seats" when they're not on the field.

Watson isn’t set to be deposed in the civil cases until late Feb.

There could very easily be multiple civil trials AND a criminal trial in his future next year.

Teams are not going to trade for him this year.

Sounded like the Eagles had it in the works before the latest news came out, but now that's been shot down too.

Still think that's where he likely ends up...if he ends up anywhereBut with his own lawyers talking about indictments, doesn't sound good.

It's legal, what was done to Watson, but it bull**** and we all know it.

Rich guys do stuff like that to people/each other.

It's legal but it's not right. Especially when Jerry Richardson is shamed and Kraft keeps his franchise.

I don't care about all that. This was about revenge/manipulation we all know it.

I don’t know that.

You don’t either. You just have feelings based on limited information.

We’ll see what happens.

No, we don't "all know it" but it really doesn't matter either way.

Regardless of what your feelings are, I wouldn't put any bets on Watson being a Panther at this point.

This was an oft used reason for signing a running back to a 64 million dollar contract despite having no starting qb to speak of. Some of ya'll stay moving goal posts.

Based on recent comments from Buzbee, it sounds like some of the women want an admission from him as part of a settlement. Doesn’t sound like he’s going to do that so I expect this will go to trial.

The New England Patriots march on. They'll continue to be the darling. Maybe Watson doesn't have Kraft money so that's why HIS probability is high.

And YES Tepper needs to turn it around.

Get a clue.

I'd agree.

You sign football players for football reasons. Anything else is stupid.

Yeah...uh, Dave Tepper is not some mythical godfather like figure. He can't secretly manipulate the legal system or any such goofy idea as that.

Watson's case is gonna go through the court system. His best chance at anything was likely a settlement, but it seriously doesn't sound like that's going to happen now.

Complain and rant all you want. It's not going to change anything.

    • I don't get the Hunter hate. Just imagine his ceiling if he stopped trying to be this 2way freak and focused on one side of the ball
    • 100%.  You have to play the cards that are dealt.  Not the cards you wish were dealt.
    • I'd say its definitely going to be addressed this off-season.  We went into the last draft with a roster of RBs including:  Chubba, Blackshear, and Miles Sanders. We picked Jonathan Brooks in the second and still signed Rashaad Penny afterwards.  Fast forward....One turned into a top 10 back, 1 is injured/out for most if not all the '25 season, 1 retired, 1 will either take a huge paycut or be cut, and the last is a restricted free agent. We brought in Mike Boone as well. Add him to the free agent list also.  We need a physical option.    Which qualifies:  Ashton Jeanty(Boise St): Overall ranked Top 10. Almost 2k yards after contact, 28 tds. Would take our first rounder. My money would be on an NFC East team selecting him. (97.2 PFF run grade) - 121 forced missed tackles.  Omarion Hampton(UNC): Ranked everywhere from 20 - 59 overall. Consensus #2 back after Jeanty. He'll be a second rounder. 1,222 Yards after contact w/ 15 tds.  (90.5 PFF run grade) - 72 forced missed Tackles Kaleb Johnson(Iowa): Ranked from 38 - 69 depending on which media outlet you prefer but generally #3. 2nd/3rd possibly. 1,060 Yards after contact w/ 21 tds.(86.7 PFF run grade)- 66 forced missed tackles Cam Skattebo: Ranked from the 50's - 104. Every mock I do he ends up BPA at some point. 969 Yards after contact w/ 17 tds(92 PFF Run Grade). Probably the best receiving back of the group. 81 forced missed tackles.  If the '24 and '25 draft classes were combined, IMO the rankings would be, in order: Jeanty, Hampton, Brooks, Johnson, Skattebo. I wouldn't take one high but I'd take one for Chubba and Brooks insurance.
