This signing is further evidence that Kupchak is going to have this team playing with afterburners.  Baseline to baseline, Ish Smith is as fast and quick as any PG in the league.   And does NOT turn it over no matter the hectic pace

Solid sign but really surprised we didn't keep Monk when I see he signed for 1.7 next year with LA.  That is really cheap

That’s also signing to play for a Lebron led championship contending Los Angeles Lakers team in LA. When you compare it to coming back to a Lamelo led team in Charlotte just hoping to win one playoff series (albeit it an exciting and fun team) with another undefined role and it makes sense.

negotiations would have started around $7-8m a year with us and probably ended around $10m.. LA gets him for under $2m.. smgdh

the league is messed up and the deck is stacked against the smaller markets

That was his choice.. His price here would have probably be for more.. Again he wasn't to happy here last year...
