"The Patriots treat players like crap"

Wish every team had a Tony Dungy type, to help with 'life coaching' and a Dave Ramsey type for basic money management.  It's not sexy but if you cared about your players, you'd find a way to do it.

They used to do a league operated Rookie Symposium. They have transitioned to a new platform that is more of the home team run program for all rookies.

“This collaborative effort permits the league to educate players about the tools and resources available for a successful playing experience on and off the field,” said Troy Vincent, NFL executive vice president of football operations. “The Rookie Transition Program allows the clubs to orient all rookies to local resources and to club culture, history, leadership and expectations.”

Meh, I see players coming back after playing with other teams. I don’t think that would be the case if they were treated poorly. I think the staff expects a lot out of their players and push them to play better/harder. Some players can’t handle this, while others will flourish.

Bashing and calling someone a whiner for being real about working conditions that’s made a total taxable career income of just over 9mill but siding with greedy BILLIONAIRES is a Novel concept….

Why side with either?

fug the stupidity.

No designated hour lunch break and they don’t have fun? That’s his complaint?

Its not about siding with owners it’s about living in the real world. Welcome to it. People are working twice as many hours with never time for family or lunch all year round for pennies.

Get real. Sounds like they just take their poo seriously as they should as the amount of money on the line.

And I’m just talking about Americans. It’s sorry how out of touch these athletes are with real life, but it explains a lot.

The patriots value hard work over everything else.

That's why a guy like cam Newton surprised a lot of folks when he earned praise and a second contract from the organization.

Marsh is a JAG. Not sure how this is relevant to panthers football other than Mr. Scot losing his schtick to the new guy.

    • I want to throw in how much easier it is for a QB to develop and improve with a good oline.  Huge credit to the front office for spending the money on our two guards.  Cade Mays also had a 2nd really good game starting at center.  Love how he has developed and hope he's the real deal. Look at what Stroud is dealing with now in Houston after injuries and problems with their oline.  Strouds accuracy has been greatly affected as it seems like he doesn't trust his protection. Canales is doing a great job developing Bryce.  I think the QB whisperer might be for real. And obviously big props to Bryce.  First round pick that looks horrible in his first year.  Different coaches and systems.  Fans and media are calling him the biggest bust in NFL history and he looked like it in the first two games this year.  Gets benched.  Young man keep his cool and just continued to work and only worry about what he can control.  I hope things continue like this and we end up with a great success story. Bryce Young kept pounding.
    • Outside of Philly (who currently is #3 in pass defense) the rest of our remaining opponents are bottom 1/3 of the League in that regard.  Let's see what Bryce can do versus bad pass Ds.
