Trade for Stephen Jackson done!

Its funny that you say this because you were talking poo about Artest in another thread for the same reason. Must just be your bromance for Lebron and your desire to down Kobe and the Lakers as much as possible. I like this trade though. Not sure how long Raja can last with that wrist. This will work if Stephen doesn't get to big of a head. If it doesn't i still applaud the Bobcats for trying to make things happen and get into the playoffs.

Maybe because Artest is a headcase with a reputation and every media type that covers the Fakers will tell you converting Artest into a "role player" (something he's never been) will be the Fakers greatest challenge. If you recall I said Artest is a player I greatly respect but is a sellout for joining the Fakers. Not once did I say, Artest is gonna beat up fans again. Stephen Jackson has a reputation as well, only difference is, he doesnt draw attention to himself like Artest does and he actually has won a title before.

You're right. Firing a handgun outside a strip club doesn't draw attention at all. Calling yourself Big Shot Jack doesn't draw attention to yourself either. Calling out your coaches character in the media doesn't draw attention either. You're right he is a saint. Adam Morrison won a title too and i don't want him back. Hell i could have won a title with that Spurs team. The good thing about all this is we have LB coaching him and he does well with the troubled ones.

I never said he was a saint. I said he doesnt draw attention to himself the way Artest does and he doesnt. He doesnt put crazy designs in his hair. He doesnt promote his R&B group on Sportscenter the day he gets suspended from the league. He's not out there saying the crazy quotes to get attention. He's not the sideshow that Artest is. Artest is a good player, and defensive guy, but he has flaws that the Lakers have to address if they want to get to another title.

More like:

3rd pick (Morrison), 8th pick (Richardson), Dudley, and Brown, for Stephen Jackson and Diaw.

Actually it was Morrison, Wright, Dudley and Brown for Jackson and Diaw, which is a great deal imo. Getting anything for Morrison is a plus. I think its really smart trade and I have hated alot of thing this FO has done. Esp taking Morrison over Gay, Roy and Rondo taking May over Granger, Maxiell and Lee.

I would have taken Lopez and Chalmers over Augustin and Ajinca as well.

So question here from someone who hasn't followed the NBA closely in years...

This Acie Law kid.. about him... 11th overall selection seems pretty good as far as the talent potential there.

Why hasn't he panned out? Could he possibly be good for this team? Where does he land with Felton and Augustine. Those two guys are clearly 100% PG's and aren't very flexible. Will he be able to get any minutes here?

Yeah, I didn't include Wright in that scenario because he never actually played for us.

Acie Law has not looked good although he was getting some time in GS playing SF with Nelsons retarded lineups. I doubt he'll get any time here unless Felton and DJ continue to play at their current atrocious level.
