NFL stadium power rankings: Which team has the best home field? (yahoo.com)

I didn't know power ranking stadiums was a thing?  It seems we cant get love anywhere, in any sort of rankings.  But yeah, the article is a fun read.

24. Bank of America Stadium

"Another typical outdoor venue, the Carolina Panthers play in a moderate climate in Charlotte, North Carolina. The venue is also the home of the ACC Championship Game and the Belk Bowl. So, they must be doing something right."

As some who has experienced a share of stadiums, I’d say this is about right. There are only a few that are worse than BOA. Definitely needs an upgrade. We don’t have a rich history like the Packers so no need to pretend we do like JR did and keep things in the dinosaur age. And I think every gets the hint after 20 years of disturbed. And these rankings also take into account the fans…which will never change unless the Panthers have some sort of sustained success.

The environment in BOA when we do make it in playoffs is actually pretty decent…but just as bipolar is the Panthers success, the fans are as well. Just no momentum.

Yeah, NC professional sports are kind of all that way. Start very strong, the teams start to disappoint and then the fans become fickle.

I do think that if we get Panthers Stadium 2.0 under Tepper(seems likely) it will be pretty insane.

Ericsson Stadium, when it opened in 1996, was State. Of. The. Art.

Now, even with renovations, BOA stadium is a concrete nightmare of a time long gone and best forgotten.

Point misser extraordinaire...

...this isn't about the "stadium" (as it goes to the physical structure)...

...it's about the fans/vibe/uncomfortability-factor...

Panthers Stadium is a beautiful facility and gives up nothing across the league as it goes to the actual venue --- sure, there are fancier places...but none offer a better overall experience from an amenities perspective...

What part of this is talking about the fans?  Really, which combination of words below references them?

Compare it to the write-up of one of the top 10. Clearly the fans are a factor on this particular list.

7. Arrowhead Stadium

It's an outdoor venue, it's grass, it's a simple video board, but the fans make Arrowhead Stadium come alive — whether it's being raucous and proud during the game, or tailgating at a world class level in the parking lot beforehand. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Chiefs fans roared to a level of 142.2 dbA on Sept. 29, 2014, when Kansas City rocked the New England Patriots 41-14 on Monday Night Football. No wonder Bill Belichick was on to Cincinnati.

Swedish company naming a stadium in a city barely any Swede had heard of. That is weird. Sure they were top of the world at that time but still. And they opted out of the contract because the it-crash in early -00 and the company nearly went bankrupt. Sounds about right for this team, up and down.. Sorry guys and gals
