Apparently they're bringing this guy in to do some commentary on this year's preseason games.

Side Note: Didn't know Taylor Zarzour was doing play by play these days.

Wonder if this also serves as a back door audition for him to be Mick Mixon's replacement.

He didn't really impress me on the NFL network, but I always root for him to do well.

I think Taylor would be a great option.  He has a lot of energy on the college games I would catch him on.  He has a lot of other play by play duties but if Tepper wants him, he can surely afford him.

Gotta figure Jim Szoke probably gets the first shot at that job (and deservedly so) but you never know.

I remember liking Zarzour when he was on WFNZ. Unfortunately, he was partnered with colossal dickhead Marc (with a 'c') James.

I've always liked Steve Smith input on NFL Network.    I hope this turns out well and become apart of the Panthers sports network.
