It sounds stupid I realize, but if Richardson has no true heir when he dies, then selling the team is really the only option and having the person with the most interest and money be in LA is really not THAT outside of the box. I just hope it doesn't go down that way.

If Richardson was interested I can think of someone who would buy the team and move it....NASCAR's Brian France. He's been rumored to be buying a team for that purpose for four years now. But Big Cat would never do that. The Panthers are his legacy.

Well I only posted this rumor I heard in hopes to hear some reassurance that they would stay. I didn't think it made much sense but this rumor was from a guy with PSLs and a little inside info. But you know how that goes....

you do realize that his son's are still part owners of the team along with others.... Big Cat has the majority but he is not the sole owner

Brian spent a lot of time out in L.A. Rumor was he was set to buy the Saints a few years ago and move them. I knew people who worked under him and they were pretty sure it was going to happen. So the interest is there. But not the Panthers.
