Not much...at all.

We've already seen how Walker looks when he's not playing the worst defense in the league. Heck, even against the Lions he had issues.

Igo is right. He's not an NFL quarterback. And your trying to pump him up just makes you look dumb.

What's even dumber though is this whole "I want the Panthers to lose so they can see they were wrong to let Newton go".

First, I never said I wanted the Panthers to lose bc they let go of Cam, I said base on how they treated him, and Teddy do they really know what they Doing at the QB position.

What could possibly possess someone to push a PJ Walker agenda day in and day out?

5:1 Int to TD ratio

45.8 passer rating

PJ has the most important stat in the QB room, he's a winner.

Understand he's undefeated...if my QB wins games f* the stats. And like one other poster said do you really want to go talk stats, if we go by their draft position... Darnold a 1st Grier a 3rd n PJ undrafted...hmmm who's the overachiever and who's the underachiever?

Hey we agree on something.  So as it shakes out, are you just going to deride and insult him the whole time?

Good question.  Yes, the situation was very different and complicated... Cam wasn't on a rookie contract, he was much older, he only played 2 games the previous year, he was due for another long/big extension, during negotiations he posted on twitter about the team's commitment to him...in the end, no one wanted him, we couldn't even get a trade for him...Pats took him cheap cheap cheap after he sat on the market for a long time.

Darnold has shown he can play after the injury.  He is younger and cheaper with a shorter commitment to get him to sign.

As long as y'all insult PJ, why is it any different

Yes, they are the stats I wanted to use.  They perfectly demonstrate how absurd the PJ argument is.  I'm sorry If numbers are difficult for you.

All of our QBs have horrible numbers. Is it too much to ask that Huddlers be consistent when deciding who they grade on the curve?

It's still stupid.

Just like trading for S.A.M was.

And you know what else is stupid....

"For me, I'm just not playing to the best of my ability and, quite frankly, just playing stupid," the rookie told reporters Monday on a conference call. "I thought I played stupid football [Sunday]. I just have to be better. I know that, the coaches know that, everybody knows that."

Darnold's interception total ballooned to a league-high 14 with a four-pick performance in a 13-6 road loss to the Miami Dolphins. He threw an interception on three of the Jets' last four possessions, including one that was returned for a touchdown by linebacker Jerome Baker.

For the first time since he was named the starter before Week 1, Darnold expressed self-doubt.

"I just have to play smarter, play better," he said. "Yeah, I definitely feel like I forced some things. But at the same time, I feel like there were some throws [I didn't make] where I was second-guessing myself and I could've pulled the trigger.

"At some moments in the game, I just get in my own head. I just have to stay true to my progressions and make sure [I have] the confidence I normally have. Just go out there and sling it."

What's changed in 3 years?

Most of us are hoping Sam Darnold turns out to be a good investment, but if he isn't the Panthers will be in contention for the worst lineup of QBs in the league.

Carolina definitely needs to bring in a veteran to back Sam up.

Can't believe a team with Panthers recent history of backup QB failure didn't do more to strengthen their bench by now.

He was traded to a better team with better coaching.

What's changed from Walker throwing 5 picks to 1 touchdown less than a year ago?

I'd like to believe you're not actually this stupid but you're certainly working hard to convince me.

Well, there's still time for that.
