Interesting.  Don’t know much about him, but the NFL is a different beast from the college game.  Maybe he wasn’t cut out for it.  There were a few coaches who went back to college after the season as well (but if it was a pay bump who can blame them)

If you look at his Linkden you'll wonder how in the world he ever got the job in the first place.

Padden is the guy that raced a mobile tackling dummy then had it knock him on his ass after he won.

"Operations" for the Panthers is mostly logistical stuff. He wasn't a personnel guy. Neither is his replacement.

They said he had differences with employess/officials. That can only mean he did not get along with The Darnold.
