Did Luke throw a shot at Teddy today?

I may be overlooking this.

BUT 

One of the big headlines the last few weeks have been Teddy’s comments about the staff,  comments regarding  practicing late game situations etc

 

Here is Luke today on Rhule

Even if it wasn’t a shot, it sure as hell is the reason Teddy isn’t starting for us this season.

Impossible to say without full context but highly doubtful. One can connect dots from the comment to Teddy's release but Luke's not a drama guy.

If you hear something you feel is untrue/unfairly said..and you want to clear it up, and you have the platform to do so... you can do it respectfully and let people read between the lines. 
 

Doesnt have to be a shot to be a defending statement to the current staff.

Luke’s a smart guy and knows the game as well as anyone. I don’t think it was a shot but I also think Luke sees Teddy for what he is.

I expect that the narrative around here will be much different this time next year after Teddy wins like he has everywhere except in Carolina and Darnold struggles even worse than he did with the Jets.

This is literally a nothing article. His only compliment of Teddy is that he cares about ball placement lol. Did you not read it before you linked it?

Teddy was making some throws in training camp for us too. Game day was a completely different story. That completion % doesnt mean anything when you cant move the chains.

They quoted the guy whose average depth of target last year was less than 7 yards, Teddy's kind of receiver.

Not here to bash Teddy just here to say I trust Luke’s perception of Rhule’s game management waaaay...waaaaaaaay more than Teddy’s so that’s all I needed to hear/read.
