Panthers Confidential - A Look Into the Panthers Offseason

I really liked the rapport between Rhule & Fitterer.  Had to keep reminding myself Fitterer was very new.  He seemed like a natural and so comfortable in his first draft with the team, first draft as a GM.  The calm, cool & collected atmosphere surprised me a bit.  I expected a bit more tension during the trade downs on Night 2 as guys we liked got picked, but they seemed very confident in their plan.  I like it.  (Obviously we didn't see everything.... but still, the chemistry seems real and I like the sense of their being a clear plan and confidence in the plan from all involved.)

I was surprised by the emotion Jaycee showed stepping onto the field and seeing the Jumbotron.  As the son of an NFL player, groomed for the NFL, I expected him to maybe take it for granted a bit, but he didn't.  And seeing Joe Horn in Panthers gear never gets old!  I love the fact that we kept the Saints from getting Jaycee!

  watching Jaycee cry on the field removed any doubt I had...I went from loving this guy as a prospect to believing he will be the one.

Is it just me or did Joe Horn seem torn.  While he was happy for his son it looked like he could spit nails that Carolina took him when his JC got the call.

YES YES YES!!! Loved every minute of it. With the possible exception of the Robbie Anderson bit. Not sure why that was even there.
