I remember cam initially wanted #2 but jimmles clausen wouldn’t give it to him. Turning out to be a good thing!

If I were him I would take #1

imagine how many people still wear their #1 cam jersey to games. If I were him, I would think it is great seeing all those #1’s in the stands.

#88 Smith - Greatest Panthers WR and possible HOF.

#59 Kuechly - Greatest Panthers LB and possible HOF.

#1 Newton - Greatest Panthers QB and possible HOF.  (if for nothing more than being the best rushing QB in the history of the league)

Smith was 89. Olsen was 88.

Also being the greatest Panthers QB is nothing spectacular. He had to beat out Steve Beuerlein and Jake Delhomme.
