Horn is a fugging beast. This will be luke 2.0 with people looking dumb 3 years from now. We draft a O linemen in round 2 and we have a incredible, young team, and a 23 year old QB to build around with the 3rd most cap space next year with one of the best young defenses in the league

What else is he other than 23?

the only thing that matters is wins.

you can win with a quality qb.

can he effectively steward the offense off play action as well

is he a blue collar worker who really does some nice things

can he effectively execute and distribute the ball with lots of grit too

Rookie already has stupid pressure to succeed because of where he was drafted. As previously mentioned, dude is gonna have to have Revis Island/Devin Hester level of impact to justify how high he was drafted.

exactly my perspective on this pick. Any other is complete and utter buffoonery.

What the hell are you on, They had Top 10 D for several years in early Newton years. Even were #1 for a while in 2015. How is that not Elite? lol wtf.

The 2015 defense was one of the most overrated of all time. Bend don't break is all we had those years. 2013 was the only elite year.

The Cowboys trade down and will probably still land a guy they want. This franchise is so stupid. We could’ve traded down and got Horn or Surtain.

Definitely probably couldnt.  Surtain went the next pick and Dallas really wanted a CB as well.

Hence why he said rarely. It happened once, maybe twice.

It's because it's entirely difficult. Trying to build an elite defense is very very very difficult. You essentially must hit on late round all-pro talent to achieve it (Panthers 2013, Seahawks). It's so costly to draft a defense high and try to keep them all signed, almost impossible.

The irony of the 2013 defense is that we had UDFA/Nobodies across the secondary.

    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
