Most physically talented quarterback ever

Otto Graham, just killed opposing defenses, through the air or on the ground.

Fran Tarkenton, if  they measured how far he ran in total rather than just yardage gained, he'd have about 120,000 yards rushing. Had a heck of an arm, too.

Steve Young, that guy just won. Great arm and moved better than you'd think and better than most defenders thought before they faced him.

Randal Cunningham was like a ghost out there, gliding through defenses. Good, good arm and a student of the game. Had he had the protections QBs have today he'd have had 10 more years of career.

Cam was great, Vick was great, Mahomes is great, but there's some trailblazers that paved the way for them.

Fantastic quarterback, yeah.

Physical specimen? Not so much.

True...my mind is wondering.  Marino’s arm was truly amazing

I mean Jeff George flicking the ball 40 yrds with the wrist was pretty sick.

There are a lot of great choices.

It could be recency bias or team bias, but gun to my head I probably would choose Newton. He really was a physical freak.

Vick wasn't the world's greatest quarterback but damn was he an insane athlete.

Look at some of these- unreal arm talent only match by how much of a jerk he was

Damn I remember those games sitting there with a few beers.  Randy Moss was so incredibly mind blowing.  The league may never see a more talented WR.

I know we are talking QBs but Moss was so amazingly dominant.

Randy is only open if a QB can throw those fiddy yards dimes. Randy had unreal talent, he could wake up today, roll out of bed, and run a 4.4. Hall talks about the "hand". Coach told him before too....

Physically Talented: Cam

He was the prototype athlete, he probably could have played any offensive position (minus oline) and excelled imo. QB, RB, TE, and/or WR. Not to mention on a couple spots on a 3-4 defense..maybe not starter level though. As a QB in his prime... his speed, toughness, and elusiveness are miles ahead of Allen. Arm strength might be pretty close though.

Fastest: Vick. That speed was basically like having Donte Jackson behind center.

I'm on record as not being the biggest Cam Newton fan - for reasons that I won't get into as I'll just get poo'd.

That said, c'mon it's clearly Cam Newton.

The two plays I'd submit for evidence: the 50 yard TD run against the Bucs where he burst through the hole, juked a LB and stiff armed a DB & the 70+ yard back foot throw rolling to his left he made to Smith early in his career (can't find a highlight of it 'cos Smith was tackled at the one).

I don't know of any other NFL QB that could do those two things.

Yep. Lamar Jackson has put himself in the mix too.

I have to disagree there. I love Lamar and would put him top 3 in the league right now. But, Lamar is Vick-lite.

Their games are so similar, but Ron Mexico was faster, more agile and had a better arm. If he would've played his whole career for Andy Reid, he would've been a 1st ballot HOFer. And I'm saying this as someone who hated Vick.

Vick, Cam, Cunningham, Elway and Farve in my lifetime. Probably in that order.
