Yep agree on all fronts. I think that's exactly correct. It will be Slater, trade down, or reach at CB for Carolina. Maybe Waddle is a darkhorse pick.

Sewell was never going to make it to us in the first place. He is the obvious first, non qb prospect for really any team that isn’t going to draft a QB. Pitts and Chase are the runner ups but as far as value and talent, Sewell is easily first choice. There are only a few teams with a solidified, high caliber LT in the entire NFL.

That said, I’ve come to accept a trade down is best possibly scenario or Fields if he drops, I won’t be mad at either.

We will be out of luck on Sewell and Pitts so we will just have to get BPA and hope for a starter that will make an impact right away.

I personally don't really mind. What's the point of bringing in elite offensive talent now? Do we really want to hand hold Darnold into Andy Dalton level play?
