Still think you're wasting Pitts if you ask him to play as an in-line TE.

Virtually all receiving TEs spend a lot of time split out in today's NFL. All the chest thumping about "pro style offenses", but the college game has been the driver of innovation in the game for quite some time now. The modern NFL offense is a lot closer to a "gimmicky" college offense that would've been scoffed at years ago than it is the venerable "pro style offense" of the '80s.

Generational LT talents aren't talked about as possible late top 10 picks. He's a damn good prospect, but no he's not generational.

100%

Talented left tackles usually go top 5, quite often with the first or second pick depending on how many elite QB/DE prospects there are. It's easily the 3rd or arguably 2nd most important position that teams want to solidify.

    • The Manning's are not letting their nephew play for the worst owner in the NFL.   This Manning talk is just a pipe dream.
    • Jimmy G, M. Rudolph or PJ Walker. Rudolph does have some pretty good stats last year despite limited playing time. He may finally be developing into an NFL QB. Could be a needle in the haystack. And I think holding out on Manning is the best move. I believe he will be a generational QB.
    • When they literally told Diontae he was the X the day he arrived. Canales scheme is WR1 dependant. I said a few times during the offseason how Evans bailed him out. We don’t have that guy. Canales called 3 plays for Diontae down in the red zone. 1 against Buffalo and 2 against New Orleans. All 3 ended horribly.  Dan then drafted a super raw WR in a very deep WR class. Mitchell and Burton both have been playing well and both bring a speed element we are so badly lacking  Dan proved he doesn’t have a very good understanding of the talent we have on this roster and seems to be even more clueless when it comes to understanding our cap space situation
