Farley's Back

Since Va Tech CB extraordinaire seems to have fallen in to the back end of the first round CBs, behind Surtain, Horn, Newman, and possibly even Asante Samuel could move ahead of him,  you may be afraid of his back issues--and rightly so.  However, he is a baller--tall CB, ball hawk, aggressive, smart.  Without the back injuries, he might be the #1 or #2 CB on the board, going mid first.

What is this about his back that has us so nervous?  MICRODISCECTOMIES, silly.

Microdiscectomies are considered fairly common, minimally invasive procedures, typically performed to relieve pressure on a herniated disc that might be putting pressure on the spine and causing discomfort.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski is one of many NFL players who have had multiple microdiscectomies and been able to continue their NFL careers.

Here is where they are located:        And removing them is about like a spinal tap--sore and there is recovery time required:

So let's see if he drops. If we get a top T or WR in round one, trade that third back up for this kid.

To me if you are taking a corner in round 1 they need to be a ballhawk and Surtain and Horn are not that. If Farley falls to round 2 it’s outstanding value for potential.

You don’t see Horn as one? I haven’t watched a lot of tape on him, but as an Auburn fan he picked off Nix a bunch and shut down Seth Williams.

    • And it just made sense after spending on the guards to shore up the interior for years. Instead they took an injured player at a position they were set at. Panthers gonna panther
    • That's about right and worth more than zero. The list of tag and trades for close in value - our own clowney, Javis Landry, Yannick Ngakoue BY size chance, Im mainly praising him and Morgan should know his value well enough. LTs get PAID and there's only around 14 of them the rest are acting like LTs.      This could be a classic and Im a sucker for classics (truth told).  If he keeps playing LT at a high level, you will be in shock at dem contract zeros, brother! lewis got 4 yrs 53 and hunt got 100 million. Neither of them could play LT and I have huge doubts about either at C. What christ did moving from C to LT within one week and not miss a beat, that my friend is pure talent. Talent gets PAID in the NFL.  You may even start up trading Icky and drop a bag for Christ rumors...... Im willing to bet right now he gets over 10mill per/
    • There are just too many guys on this team that brings absolutely nothing to the game. It’s Ball and Miller and then a bunch of jags at best.
