I went to two of his concerts with the love of my life and had such a good time.  I don’t care much about his music, but everyone was so chill and it was really fun.  Also got hammered, so yeah.  Good times.

fug it, I went to several Dave concerts.  They were good times.  Rhule falls into that same window of time where it was a thing to go to them.

I've seen much better bands in person....and didn't have as much fun.

Rhule seemed so youthful and energetic at Baylor and immediately following us hiring him. Dude just looks beat down and like he's not enjoying himself these days. Losing sucks, but he's lost before at Temple and at Baylor early in his tenure at those stops. I just hope he isn't getting discouraged with the much more limited ways to address your roster in the NFL vs. at the college level.

That seems to be the American way when it comes to journalism.

It's rampant that side of the pond. It's always annoyed me (I have a Journalism degree).

He also likes to say "can you say some words about ********?"

I remember watching UK NFL coverage and being jealous.  It's not so obvious they just feed off the shallow Twitterverse

I’ve honestly had the same thoughts.  He looks beat down.  He’s only one year into like a 7 year contract so I hope he’s okay.  I know the NFL is hard, but damn.  I’m probably overthinking it though.

I had more fun there than I did at any other concert, including bands I actually like haha.  The people were great and the atmosphere was awesome.  Just people vibing and having a good time.

Applicable to interest in Rashawn Slater:

Around the 29 minute mark:

Press: John Schneider (Seattle GM) was open about Seattle's preference for Cornerbacks with 32" arms. Is that a philosophy you'll bring here, and similarly, will you have a philosophy on arm length for offensive tackles

SF: As far as Corners, we change to what our coaches want, what they expect, we're not going to play with the exact type of corner we played with in Seattle, we look for different traits here. We adjust as a personnel staff to that. Obviously length is important, it does show up on tape, it's important for offensive linemen as well. It is a factor that we look at.

This was something that immediately stood out to me. As soon as I heard it my first thought was Slater. It made me think that if players x,y,z aren't there at 8 and we can trade down then the first pick may very well be a CB and LT in the 2nd. Just depends on how many of the LTs are 1 of their 16 1st round players. They mentioned in the last presser that inability to make stops on 3rd down was a major issue. Getting an elite CB would help that a lot with our expected increased pass rush.

Yep, one week left before the draft. They are trying to review everyone and every scenario. I’d be worried if he didn’t look tired.

I see no possible way that this forum doesn't implode over our pick.  So many people want different players and when we trade down (which I think we will) the server will melt down.

Fitterer said there are about 155 players on the full draft board.

My guess for 1st round grades:

1. Trevor Lawrence- QB / Clemson

2. Kyle Pitts- TE / Florida

3. Ja'Marr Chase- WR / LSU

4. Penei Sewell- OT / Oregon

5. Zach Wilson- QB / BYU

6. Justin Fields- QB / Ohio State

7. Patrick Surtain II- CB / Alabama

8. Jaylen Waddle- WR / Alabama

9. Teven Jenkins- OT / OK State

10. Alijah Vera-Tucker- OG / USC

11. Jaycee Horn- CB / South Carolina

12. Devonte Smith- WR / Alabama

13. Rashawn Slater- OG / Northwestern

14. Christian Darrisaw- OT / Virginia Tech

15. Micah Parsons- LB / Penn State

16. Trevon Moehrig- S / TCU

Definitely. It’s not going to clear up until 4 or 5 picks in. There will either be disappointment over our pick if the top guys don’t fall or disappointment over trading back and missing out on somebody. Some people will be happy but many won’t.

I trust Fitterer and Rhule but so many think that they know more than those who spend every minute of their day thinking and working for a better team.

I predict at least 20 post saying WTF after our first pick.

    • I think it will be hard to not go edge in the second if we go QB first. Say you have Starks, one of Bond/Egbuka, and maybe one Edge (don't have a name to throw out that is end of 1st round projected and may slide)... do you still go Starks? Just curious. I haven't looked into starks much, as I've been focused on QB, WR, and DL prospects.
