What is your first three round mock and why

9th pick- Denver moves up due to fear of someone trading with Carolina to get a QB. Denver selects T. Lance. Carolina picks up an additional 3rd round pick for 2022. Carolina selects Micah Parsons. This team while not fortunate in many departments has had the fortune of AMAZING MLB play (Morgan, Beason, Kuechly) and while Thompson is an athlete, he's no MLB. Fitz knows what an impact MLB can do (Wagner)

39th- Liam Eichenberg OT Notre Dame- Sewell is gone, Slater is not worth the 8/9 pick but Carolina needs to solidify OT if they want to give Darnold a chance. Erving is a JAG, not a long term fix

70th (From Eagles)- Carolina moves up to pounce on Jay Tufele, IDL USC. One of the best defensive players in the Pac 12 Fitts knows he wants to bring pressure to the QB. Burns, Brown, Reddick, Tufele with YGM and even KK coming in rotation (comes back as vet min)

This draft will be spent on fixing a huge hole in the D between MLB, DT and fixing the OL and investing draft capital on LT and later rounds some road grading guards

4th-7th will be CB,S,Guard draft capital

A draft like this sets the stage for this team to compete sooner rather than later and accelerates if Darnold can be a Tannehill/Cousins/Carr level of talent

1st- Micah Parsons, LB

2nd- Creed Humphreys, C/G

3rd- Josh Ball, Tackle

I think first round will be BPA and I’m on the Parsons train

Creed will be there at 39 and will be able to plug into guard this year and be the center of the future.

Josh Ball...he was at the senior bowl and showed ALOT of athleticism to be a left tackle. He had his issues at Florida state but transferring helped him tremendously.

I don’t have a 3 round but don’t see anyway Parsons is the pick in the 1st. If we’re at 8 Sewell or Slater is available and if we trade back just a few Slater should still be there. Have to take your franchise LT. Sewell is a top 3 pick if this wasn’t such a QB heavy need draft.

    • Easily. To be able to plug in a backup LT without much drop off from your starter? That could mean the difference between playoffs or sitting at home in January. Good/serviceable smart young and healthy LTs that won’t lose you a ball game at reasonable $$ don’t just come along every day. Picture next year… the team is scrappy and competitive, 4 and 3 record, second place in the South. Morale is good. devastating run game that Let’s our marginal defense get plenty of rest. We play the Bucs and win, going to 5 and 3, but we lose Ickey to a high ankle sprain. Atl loses that week and are now at 5 and 3 as well. There is no Ickey and no BC because we let him go… and we go in to Atl the next week for a battle of first in the south. Week after that is the Jets…. Now they lose both by 10 and 3, respectively, and fall to 5 and 5 going in to their bye week. Atl is at 7 and 3. Out of typical Panthers desperation, they try to rush Ickey back in to the lineup with a saints game coming up…  Back to good old Panthers football, always playing catchup. Another season at .500 and the fans sadly rejoice in mediocrity, when playoffs were in reach. This team always overestimates its ability to pick up quality o line depth in the draft or FA and it always blows up in their faces. Like Chuba, I see him as being part of the core that Dan is trying to build. Work on his contract now and see if we can come out with something mutually beneficial. I’d consider 3 yrs at $25m to be very fair.
    • it would be great to have "double trouble" again, I even had a T- shirt for Williams and Stewart and the double trouble logo, was a great time to be Panthers fan. We shall see...
    • Sounds like a plan. Those are the teams we should be mimicking! lol
