It's a great place to start and should be looked at first until it is resolved. Next comes LT because it is the second hardest spot to fill and can ruin the 1st.

Right, we’re all saying the same thing. You need it all. Some people just want to solve the QB problem first, some want to build the team first.

Personally, I don’t think it makes a ton of sense to build an amazing team without knowing if you’ll be able to get a good QB. Amazing teams are hard to build and typically only stay together for a year or two.

Many ways to skin a cat in football. 

BTW..We went far in 2015 when Cam was actually great. Look what he did with a sub par WR Corp.

Personally, I appreciate smart fans' perspectives more than the pro analysts'. As such, I'm more skeptical about Darnold than I was, but there's still hope. 

I just hope Justin Fields falls to 8.

Of course Mel Kiper likes the deal and gives us a A+. He says, "stats lie," and he hopes Darnold goes the way of Josh Allen and proves everyone wrong because he believes Darnold still can be a highly competent QB.

Well, it's not a popular opinion, but I don't think that Newton was ever a truly elite QB, mainly because of inconsistent mechanics and decision making, so it's no wonder that we couldn't get the consistency necessary to win a championship, especially when you add the mismanagement of adding a consistently great line and weapons around him. It just was never meant to be.
