He annoys me but it's a good point.  This is Darnold's chance to save his career.  So it will all be at his disposal if he can bloom/tap into his potential.  A 2022 2nd is an overpay but not some detrimental loss.  I'm not expecting much given what I've seen, Darnold has indeed looked bad, but we'll just have to wait and see. 

Seweel or Slater definitely become possibilities and I'd be thrilled to finally land an LT
