I feel like it’s gotta be on Darnold more. If this was a blockbuster trade like the 9ers, I’d say the staff. Darnold will have arguably the best RB in the league, with two 1,000 yard WRs, and hopefully we add to that in the draft. 

We were not in a good position to land a top QB in the draft and Watson’s situation looks really bad. 

They didn’t break the bank for him, so they don’t have much invested really. Not for a potential franchise QB. I think it’s a good risk.

If we just traded a 2nd, 4th, and 6th for a QB who was rated worse than Teddy, and he's worse than Teddy, then the 3 guys in charge are going to get a lot of blame.

Darnold really doesn't have much pressure.
