Yeah I honestly like him quite a bit better than Wilson and Lance, from what I've seen from this QBs (which is admittedly not a lot and I'm just some nobody fan) I'd put Lawrence in a tier of his own, Fields 1 tier below TL, and then Wilson and Lance in a 3rd tier. All are amazing prospects and well worth a top 5-10 pick in any draft, but I definitely like Fields the most of the 3 potential guys. If we can get him without giving up anything extra, or at least giving up significantly less than the 49ers gave up to get another QB, I'd be ecstatic. Unlikely though.

Why it needs to be an LT this year if not a QB. That way we at least lower the bar for the calibur of QB we need to have back there.

Well, if this does in fact mean we will not draft a QB at 8, at least we should be able to solve our hole at LT which has been a problem for the longest time and would be the 2nd most important move we could make. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade. KEEP POUNDING!!!!

I think getting an elite LT in the first, and then let's look at a guy like Kellan Mond in the 2nd

Our LT position has been pretty bad with a few outliers since Jordan Gross retired. =(
