I concur.

That said, do either Rhule or Fitterer report to the other?

In the traditional NFL model the chain of command is Owner > GM > Coach...

...do you believe it's something different with the Panthers?

Lmao I haven't been here long but bro... how do you get negative reputation that's crazy, didn't even know that was possible

@LinvilleGorge, if he spams the Appaloosa stuff one more time, I'd say you have just cause.

We have yet to establish who Fitterer reports to...

...seems like it would be important to know.

Do you know?

Seems like there are 3 options:

1.  Tepper >> Fitterer >> Rhule

2.  Tepper >> Rhule >> Fitterer

3.  Rhule <> Tepper <> Fitterer

Which do you believe to be the case?

Balance and accountability are very unpopular concepts with many folks --- I believe strongly in both.

[not to mention there are 2 or 3 guys who follow me around and ding every post I make -- it's easy to figure out who they are]

As of right now I would say Tepper > Rhule > Fitterer

I believe Rhule is making decisions, Tepper is making the call (yes/no call), and Fitterer is using his connections.

My opinion obviously i dont know for sure

Seems logical.

Would be akin to Belichick with Patriots where he's the GM & HC...and the recently departed Nick Caserio who was Director of Player Personnel.

While non-traditional, it sure worked well.

IMO I'm not sure the way you'd say the progression of the layout of who reports to who. I think it would probably look like this, but I may not be saying just right.

Tepper <> Fitterer <> Rhule

or

Tepper > Fitterer > Rhule

It is all discussed with Tepper since he's the owner of the team! Fitterer is using his connections, and Rhule makes the call (yes/no)

From what I've seen in other places. Fitt is the GM, Rhule has final say when it comes to the roster, and then I believe it's a combination of (Fitterer/Suleiman) that irons out the contrats

Both those scenarios seem to presume Fitterer is Rhule's boss.

Fitterer would be a direct report to Tepper...and Rhule would be a direct report to Fitterer.  [Tepper > Fitterer > Rhule]

This what you're thinking?

It would be nice to know.

That is the most valuable rep on this web-site, Each one of those triggered poops is worth X1000 normal pie. I hate giving Sizzlebuzz any positive rep for that reason. Most login to alts to poop him too, compete cowards. Huddle is VERY serious to some, dont even get me started on the litterbox crew....

    • I don't get the Hunter hate. Just imagine his ceiling if he stopped trying to be this 2way freak and focused on one side of the ball
    • 100%.  You have to play the cards that are dealt.  Not the cards you wish were dealt.
    • I'd say its definitely going to be addressed this off-season.  We went into the last draft with a roster of RBs including:  Chubba, Blackshear, and Miles Sanders. We picked Jonathan Brooks in the second and still signed Rashaad Penny afterwards.  Fast forward....One turned into a top 10 back, 1 is injured/out for most if not all the '25 season, 1 retired, 1 will either take a huge paycut or be cut, and the last is a restricted free agent. We brought in Mike Boone as well. Add him to the free agent list also.  We need a physical option.    Which qualifies:  Ashton Jeanty(Boise St): Overall ranked Top 10. Almost 2k yards after contact, 28 tds. Would take our first rounder. My money would be on an NFC East team selecting him. (97.2 PFF run grade) - 121 forced missed tackles.  Omarion Hampton(UNC): Ranked everywhere from 20 - 59 overall. Consensus #2 back after Jeanty. He'll be a second rounder. 1,222 Yards after contact w/ 15 tds.  (90.5 PFF run grade) - 72 forced missed Tackles Kaleb Johnson(Iowa): Ranked from 38 - 69 depending on which media outlet you prefer but generally #3. 2nd/3rd possibly. 1,060 Yards after contact w/ 21 tds.(86.7 PFF run grade)- 66 forced missed tackles Cam Skattebo: Ranked from the 50's - 104. Every mock I do he ends up BPA at some point. 969 Yards after contact w/ 17 tds(92 PFF Run Grade). Probably the best receiving back of the group. 81 forced missed tackles.  If the '24 and '25 draft classes were combined, IMO the rankings would be, in order: Jeanty, Hampton, Brooks, Johnson, Skattebo. I wouldn't take one high but I'd take one for Chubba and Brooks insurance.
