By season's end last year, he couldn't handle a full starter's load anymore. We were runningback by committee at that point.

I thought the same thing.

It seemed like Davis was out of gas when it came to the last games of the season. 

There was something about it that I just couldn't put my finger on, it was as though he was getting out of shape by then end of the season.

Rodney smith and promote reggie bonnafon back from practice squad, he should have never been on practice squad in the first place. CMC reggie bonnafon and rodney smith, sounds like a good rb core.

Ya that sounds like we way lowballed him or didn’t even offer and he decided to go in division. That’s less than the 6M we paid him for one(technically 1.5) seasons.

Had some nagging injuries that were bothering him which took its toll by year end. I don’t think he was able to even go the last game

Brady’s offense makes back ups look better than they are.  I would stick to our core.
