Funny, I would assume that a trained professional would see how foolish it would be to speculate on someone's psychological conditions without adequate information or at least personally treating them. Or at least that is an opinion I have heard from more than one practicing psychiatrist.

lmao no speculating on a sports message board?

im telling people to fug off assuming this kid is just some dumbass when his behavior is VERY specific for something, especially when you consider what has been said by the Titans organization about him.

and as far as diagnosing psychiatric disorders, behavior outside the clinic is FAR more instructive than inside. People with psychiatric disorders can often be incredibly charming. I'm sure next time you're talking with the several practicing psychiatrists you know about how to make diagnoses they'll confirm that.

Probably because we are calling it like we see it instead of conjecturing wildly on things that *might* be true and criticizing others for not taking such hypotheticals into account before criticizing.

No one made you criticize. don't be upset you're being called out on it.

but you don't need training to spot this. the last two years are indicative of something far more severe than just "he like to party"

I don't need training to make armchair speculations and assume complex medical conditions exist based on zero personal experience with a person?

You're right I don't. I'll just refrain from doing so.

I will however feel free to continue to criticize actual self destructive behavior and push back when people take it upon themselves to criticize me for doing so based on their own assertions backed by absolutely zero actual diagnosis.

Maybe you should read his teammates reactions, as well.

But, by all means, continue to be "Super Instagram Head Shrink."

nothing here jumps out

but just read all this

Titans GM Jon Robinson said he had not spoken to Wilson since the team put him on the list and later suggested that Wilson "makes a determination on whether he wants to do what it takes to play pro football."

“We did a lot of work a year ago leading up to selecting him in the evaluation process, talking to different sources, visiting with him countless number of times,” Robinson told.

“For whatever reason, the player that this fall was here in Nashville wasn’t the guy that we spent time with last year.”

Wilson, according to the local police report, went to the second-floor balcony, where he appeared to briefly consider jumping and received a trespass warning

On Jan. 11, when asked about Wilson's status, head coach Mike Vrabel said, “I wouldn’t even begin to be able to eloquently have an answer for you." According to the Tennessean, offensive guard Rodger Saffold, like Robinson, said he hadn’t talked to Wilson.

and it's not like he was at BYU for college. Any trouble he would have gotten into for partying in Nashville would have happened to him in Athens, my god.

I guess you have never been to Athens.

I am not inclined to believe that this kid was a complete headcase and a handful to keep on the field at Georgia...yet the Georgia coachess were somehow able to keep him barely making it to games and then lied to NFL coaches about it.  Especially when a fellow Bulldog on the Titans staff called to check on Wilson's character.

I am more inclined to believe that Wilson's issues at GA were somewhat normal for a college kid, and something is different now and it needs to be addressed.  I would also say that the Titans "tuff love" approach didn't work.  This seems like a player with some issues and someone needs to intervene.

And now his career is officially over

BroadwaySportsMedia.com's John Glennon reports former Titans T Isaiah Wilson was arrested at gunpoint on January 7 following a high-speed police chase.

A few days before the Titans played the Ravens in the Wild Card Round, Wilson was arrested at gunpoint and charged with myriad violations, including "fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for a felony offense; speeding in a construction zone; reckless driving; marijuana possession of less than one ounce; possession and use of drug-related objects; and reckless conduct," according to Glennon. Wilson told a police officer “that he had past experiences with law enforcement recently and he was scared,” according to the police report. Wilson was released the next day on $7,000 bond. The Titans this month traded Wilson and a 2022 seventh round pick to Miami for a 2020 seventh round pick. He was subsequently waived by the Dolphins and went unclaimed on waivers. Wilson, the No. 29 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, is unlikely to play again in the NFL.

Sounds like some sort of actual condition, folks taking shots at him and judging are just being petty and enjoying the message board freedom of consequences to bash people they don't know. After Barrett Robbins leaving the Raiders on Super Bowl week due to mental health issues you'd think people would be more understanding and empathic but nope, they need an actual psychologist to diagnose him on ESPN before deciding to not be turds lol
