Ive been upgrading her Gladius. From what I can tell once it reaches level 26 it changes to Helter Skelter. I found this chart but don't really understand it.

I am towards the end of chapter 9 and actually like the game. I hope soon I will get to Gran Pulse because the game is supposed to open up a little there. The only thing is I don't know which weapons I should level up.

I'm near the same spot as you are but I'm thinking of creating two save files. One for a no-upgrade run and one with upgrades.

her axis blade, while not the strongest thing in the world is a good weapon. It gives a slight boost to her ATB gauge. Use it as a RAV with any of the-strike abilities(sparkstrike, waterstrike, etc.) and she will destroy the enemy's stagger gauge.

Thanks for the link that chart is easier to understand. If I were to upgrade a weapon for each person any ideas which would be best?

Finally got the game and have been playing it. Im not far in maybe 8 hrs or so but I really like it. I have loved all Final Fantasy games with my favorite being 10. So yeah Im a stange one. So far I like the battle system. It does not feel monotonous like some of the old FF games but I feel like a perv bc I think Vanille is hot and shes young as hell in the game.
